GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc.Are you looking for a new challenge and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment Maybe youre looking to develop your career and become a site managerHere at GXO Logistics, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Site Manager to lead and develop our Bromford Gate shared user site with a continually growing customer base. Taking full responsibility for the performance of a fast-moving warehousing anddistribution operation, you will lead and effectively manage all warehouse related activities ensuring that customer service levels are achieved and continuously improved whilst maintaining COMAH and QHSE compliance.Youll be working MondayFriday, however a flexible approach is required.Pay, benefits and more:Were looking to offer a salary of up to £65,000.00 per annum.(dependent upon experience).In addition, we offer 25 days holiday pay (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Youll have access to a variety of high street discounts,as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.What youll do on a typical day:

  • Overseeing the site operating budget, identifying cost saving initiatives, and ensuring all H&S legislation and standards are maintained
  • Establishing positive and progressive employee relations to include managing absence, performance, and talent development
  • Provision of MI reporting and insight to both GXO Management and Customer, ensuring that site operational KPIs are met or exceeded (Branch, ECOM and Pipeline)
  • Accountable for overall communication and engagement strategy with all stakeholders including customer, branch store managers, union (Transport), wider GXO and all employees on site
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Proven successful experience at a senior level in Logistics - both in warehousing and transport operations
  • Previous experience of managing complex and challenging Trade Union relationships (Transport)
  • Excellent knowledge of continuous improvements techniques (Pipeline Development and Business Case Approval) and being committed to achieving and sustaining an exceptional level of QHSE across all operations
  • Proven experience of managing customer relationships at a senior level
