Job Description

Job descriptionPay Rate:£12.00 Per HourMileage at £0.35p per mile from dept to destination to homeSpecial requirements :

  • SIA Guarding Licence or above
  • Reliable Car
  • Car insured for business purposes
ad-hoc hoursJob Role:
  • Own Vehicle (reliable and well maintained)
  • Must be insured for business purposes
  • Flexible (Monday to Friday days)
  • Escorting HGV vehicles from depot to destination
  • SIA Licence required
  • Screening to BS7858 standards
  • You must not wear uniform, no logo hi vis required
  • Handsfree mobile phone required
To provide a vehicle escort for HGVs leaving depot, following closely and covertly. When arriving at deport, picture is to be taken of the vehicle entering the depot and you return home.In return you receive:
  • £12 per hour, from time start time at depot, to destination and return to home
  • Each run could be as little as 40 miles, but also, beyond 400 miles
  • Destination will be communicated in advance where possible, more flexible you are, the more runs you will get
  • We reserve the right to change routes/destinations to meet business requirements
  • Mileage will be reimbursed within a few days, pay will be on the 10th of each month for the previous month you worked
  • Possibility of multiple runs in each day

  • Do not let us down as this job/contract is really important
  • Arrive 15 mins before duty starts
  • Have car fully fuelled before arrival - check oil and water
  • Take a hi vis vest with you
  • Bring drink and snacks with you as you will not be able to stop on route
  • DO NOT wear security uniform
  • Bring SIA badge - if you forget it, you will NOT be allowed to work
  • If you change the vehicle, please let us know
