Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced sheet metal foreman to join our team. This role is a hands on managerial position so previous experience is essential.Job Role: Sheet Metal ForemanLocation: Birmingham, B11Position: This is a full time position

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8am – 4.30pm
    • Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 /year + BenefitsAbout UsWe are a well-established Ventilation company specialising in natural ventilation, louvres, grilles and acoustics.Duties will include
  • General steel fabrication
  • Read from construction issue drawings and prepare cutting lists
  • Use of guillotine, brake press and plasma cutting machines
  • Participation in design and development
    • Skills
  • Previous experience essential
  • Experience of running a team
  • Enthusiastic attitude to work,
  • Ability to read construction drawings
  • Ability to produce cutting lists
  • Proactive and takes a ‘can-do’ approach to work
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Willingness to work on their own or as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills,
  • Initiative and determination
  • Knowledge in mechanical engineering/ qualification would be desirable
