They are a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.Youll be joining a passionate, professional and highly skilled team of architects, project managers and software engineers who specialise in building and integrating custom software solutions at enterprise scale.DescriptionAs an ServiceNow Development Lead, you are the subject matter expert for ServiceNow development across the delivery team.You will be responsible for technical guidance and ensuring your development team deliver high quality solutions. You will also work with solution architects to produce detailed application architectures that meet business requirements and adhere to globalstandards.You will also be responsible for coaching junior team members to help them develop their skills, staying on top of industry trends, ServiceNow and integration development techniques. You will also be responsible for ensuring ServiceNow does not accumulatelarge amounts of technical debt and that business cases are challenged around change with a focus on configuration over customisation.Responsibilities include:

• Lead the ServiceNow Development team across multiple geographies and time zones
• Produce detailed application architectures, in collaboration with solution architects
• Administer, configure and customise ServiceNow applications for new and existing implementations
• Extend the ServiceNow schemas to custom applications, making use of Scoped Applications and ServiceNow Studio
• Create and configure script objects such as Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies and Actions, Client Scripts, ACLs
• Set-up interfaces between ServiceNow and other platforms to make us of integration opportunities
• Create and maintain technical documentation relating to developments
• Work effectively in a diverse agile team, within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution

ProfileThe successful candidate will have the following skills:

• Proven previous ServiceNow development experience, including custom development, configuration, and administration
• Solid hands-on development experience implementing ITSM, ITBM and HRSD applications in ServiceNow
• ServiceNow scripting experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML and REST/SOAP Web Services
• Experience of Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions and all scripted aspects of ServiceNow.
• Proven team leadership experience
• Experience in lean development practices
• Demonstrable experience with integrating ServiceNow with other 3rd party or bespoke tools
• Demonstrable experience in designing and documenting technical approaches
• Strong communication skills
• Certified ServiceNow System Administrator & Implementer
• A positive attitude and perseverance required to troubleshoot/resolve complex technical issues whilst balancing multiple priorities.
• Agile certification
• Knowledge of ITIL service management
