Job Description

About The RoleAs a Service, Maintenance and Repair Technician, you willcarry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and light repairs to customers vehicles on the drive or at work locations. You will take full ownership of the role, bookings, ordering of parts & stock, stockcontrol, customer service, financial tracking and reporting to ensure its success.This is a great opportunity to help us to shape a new product/service offering and engage with stakeholders across the business.

  • Carry out vehicle service, maintenance and repairs to a high standard whilst working within agreed standards and procedures
  • Identify where cost savings and efficiencies can be made through repairing and servicing our own fleet of Roadside vehicles
  • Understand competitor offering and what needs to be achieved to disrupt the market to help us to be seen as the market leader
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and project team to shape the success of this new initiative
  • Manage daily workload and provide outstanding customer service whilst delivering required productivity and quality standards

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent motor trade industry experience with sound mechanical knowledge of all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and comfortable working in customer-facing role
  • Organised, work well under pressure and prepared to take ownership to get the job done
  • Capable of working alone with limited supervision
  • A good understanding of vehicle diagnostics
  • Sound mechanical and bodywork knowledge of all aspects of vehicle construction and repair
  • Full Driving Licence
Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 20:00, with flexibility to meet customer requirements.
