Ready to find the right role for youService EngineerSalary: £32,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum plus Company Van, Fuel card and other Veolia benefitsHours: Rotating Shifts - Average 43 hours per week.Week 1 -Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday7:30am - 4:30pmSaturday, Sunday - 6am - 1pm

  • responsible for the daily operation of the 2 x effluent treatment plants and boiler house to satisfy the requirements of our client.
  • ensuring the discharge consents are within the consent limits as defined by MCERTS.
  • completing all mechanical maintenance tasks as scheduled via the maintenance system.
  • Day to day operation of the effluent treatment plants.(2xEffluentTreatmentPlants).
  • Day to day operation of the boiler house with daily checks and sampling.
  • Taking daily readings and entering information in excel spreadsheets.
  • Taking regular samples and boxing them up for off site analysis.
  • Regular Sourcing and purchasing of consumables.
  • Carrying out frequent maintenanceboth reactive and preventative.This is maintenance of pipework, pumps, agitators, valves, instrumentation.
  • Supervising the unloading of chemicals.
  • Helping to construct Risk Assessments and COSHH assessments.
  • Liaising with the client to arrange work within their factory.
  • Will be using a tablet to complete Preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Daily climbing of vertical ladders to reach plant equipment.
What are we looking for
  • Be flexible with working hoursto accommodate breakdowns and covering holidays and sickness.
  • Ideally hold electrical maintenance qualification.
  • Have experience of operating effluent treatment plants.
  • Have experience of working with chemicals and COSHH.
  • Ideally confined space trained.
  • Must be computer literateUsing Microsoft Office, Gmail.
  • Have experience of carrying out maintenance activities on pumps,pipework,valves etc.
  • Must be a good communicator and able to deal with clients and enforcement bodies such as EA, HSE, MCERTS.
  • Experience of MCERTS and have official awareness training.
  • HaveIPAF 3a & 3b certification or be willing to train.(MEWP)
  • Have Emergency First Aid certificate or be willing to train
