From the expertise of our people to our long-standing client relationships, we’re proud to be a company that’s committed to the human side of business.About the opportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst to join our growing Digital Transformation team.You will be working along with other Testers and Developers, building high quality Mobile and Web applications. You will be asked to contribute with your expertise, and we encourage product participation from the team.You will be part of a team building versatile, responsive, public facing applications, websites and APIs in line with business requirements.What you will be doing• Working with the team to help define and continuously review and improve the Test strategies, testing frameworks and QA environments required to meet the business needs.• Taking ownership for tasks within a sprint to ensure they are carried out to a high standard and meet deliverables are for that task.• Ability to create and execute manual test cases on new and existing functionality. Raise a defect ticket when a defect is identified and work with the relevant team members through to a satisfactory resolution.• Develop automated checks for new functionality implemented in a timely manner to ensure a high level of test coverage and meet the acceptance criteria for the functionality.• To keep up-to-date with the emerging technologies and best practices• Produce documentation where required to share knowledge with other team members.We believe to be successful within this role, you will need to have• 6-7 years commercial QA/Testing experience in a software development environment.• Experience within an Agile environment.• Experience working within an Application Lifecycle Management toolset such as Jira, DevOps• Familiar with Gherkin/Cucumber syntax when creating tests.• Ability to explore Rest APIs with tools like Postman, SoapUI etc.• Working knowledge of JavaScript and Java• Familiar with Automation Tools / Frameworks such as Appium and Selenium.• Experience in writing/enhancing automated checks for mobile and web applications.• Understanding of NoSQL database technologies such as MongoDB or DynamoDB• Nice to have but not essential, the experience of cloud services like Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes.What we can offer youIn exchange for your hard work we can offer you a competitive salary, 25 days holiday which increases with years of service, company pension scheme, season travel ticket loan, holiday incentives abroad and awards for excellent performance alongside the opportunity to be part of a supportive and successful team.When you join Acacium Group, you will work in a caring culture that prioritises your well-being, is passionate, ambitious and delivers with integrity.
