Senior Staff Nurse – ITUBirmingham, The Harborne Hospital Contract Type: Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours per weekShift Patterns: Long Days, nights and weekendsSalary range: Competitive dependent on experienceWe’re looking for an ITU Senior Staff Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit at The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK. The Harborne Hospital is our brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital, located on theQueen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital will have the deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexityincluding Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery.As a senior staff nurse you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will be able to provide clinical leadership, act as a mentor and role model, manage complex patient care, and lead the six-bedded critical care unit in the absence of the WardManager. You will support individuals and teams to deliver safe, compassionate, high quality and effective patient care that is responsive to the needs of our patients and their families.At HCA UK we care about what you care about.   • Registered General Nurse with NMC pin.
  • Neuro, Cardiac or General ITU specific skills and experience – previous 3 years’ experience.
  • Critical Care Course (minimum 30 Credits)
