Job Description

Solution ArchitectThis role is Home based with limited travel. Ideal role for a Software Focused Solution Architect who has strong experience in SaaS or DevOps environments with exposure to Openshift.For a Software Architect (Java or C#) with strong software design experience (Java or C# preferred) and experience of DevOps arenas (Openshift) this is an exciting opportunity to work inside the new DevOps Software centre of excellence. The role will have afocus around delivering software development process and designs while utilising the DevOps technologies.As the Senior Architect you will use your excellent software development skills to building software for systems of varying size and complexity, you willown thedevelopment of end-to-end solution. As the Architect you will also be an evangelist on how utilisingsoftware and Dev-Ops technologies can drive clients business forward. To secure the role you will have a strong software background (ideally experience of either Java, C#, Scala ,Python) in a SaaS or DevOps environment and will have an understanding of Openshift technology.You will be able to combine your Software skills (Java,C#, Scala or Python) with a solid understanding of DevOps tools and Automation process.KeySkills

  • Strong software Development in either Java, C#,JS, Scala, Python
  • Cloud Native Software Development
  • Knowledge of Openshift
  • Knowledge of developing Microservices and Containers,
  • Kubernetes Container Management,
  • Knowledge of deployment methodologies in Public Cloud and Private Cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Docker, BitBucket or GIT
Due to the nature of the work the Solution Architect will require SC level of security clearance.
