Job Description

We are currently looking for a qualified social worker with experience and extensive knowledge in child protection for a great authority based in the West MidlandsExperience:

  • Experience of multi-disciplinary working with children and families
  • Practice experience of applying assessment skills within a statutory social work setting.
  • Good communication skills inc. verbal, written, negotiation and role modelling
  • Knowledge of child protection, looked after children and associated child in need social work practice issues
  • Knowledge of methods of social work intervention
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations guidance & policy issues.
  • Knowledge & understanding of the framework for the assessment of children in need and their families
  • Contemporary knowledge of social work & their social work applications i.e. attachment theory, enabling change, behaviour management.
  • Knowledge of methods of social work intervention
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations guidance & policy issues
    • You MUST be:
  • HCPC registered
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • A full UK license holder
  • Qualified Social worker - Degree in social work
