Our Financial Services client based in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis with a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 on offer with some movement for the perfect candidate. This role comes with a great perks package including private healthcare, a generous pension and 27 days holiday plus bank holidays too.What does the role entailAs the Senior Relationship Manager you will be the most senior member of staff in the branch reporting in to the Area Manager and overseeing potentially 1-2 more junior members of staff. You role will be to grow the commercial lending arm to small, medium and large businesses ensuring the bank maintains a healthy portfolio of business. Part of your role will be to identify new business opportunities exploring the clients needs to match to the banks product offerings. You will also manage credit limits for clients and look after any remedial management too escalating where required. This will be a varied role and there will be a number of duties not listed that will from this role too.What skills will you haveThe ideal candidate for this Senior Relationship Manager will have a strong background in Relationship Management, possessing line management expertise and ideally a background working for an international bank, who understands all the relevant banking regulations and who also has a strong background in a similar role ideally with experience around commercial real estate lending including buy to let mortgages.
