Job Description

Senior Quantity SurveyorBirmingham (mainly working from home)6 week Contract£400 - £450 p/dayIR35 Status: In ScopeThe BackgroundI am recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UKs leading International Infrastructure groups on a contract basis to work on a large scale rail project.You…To be a successful Senior Quantity Surveyor you will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role working on major rail or tunnel projects
  • Strong subcontractor procurement experience and NEC contract knowledge
  • A degree or equivalent within Quantity Surveying or a relevant Commercial subject
    • The RoleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will:
  • Work alongside the Operations team to procure subcontractors, querying suggestions to ensure the best terms for the business
  • Ensure that subcontractors are placed in an appropriate manner and that each account is managed strictly in accordance with their terms and conditions
  • Co-ordinate the Commercial team to ensure any programme issues are identified and actioned
