Job Description

Cobalt is working alongside a disruptor of the Real Estate industry who, having almost doubled in size over the last couple of years, is looking to fuel that continued growth by hiring for a newly created Senior Procurement Manager role. Youll be the key connector across a first-class property team, working with functions such as Facilities Management, Surveying, and the operations team to help build and deliver a procurement service that enables the sustainable and continued development of our clients property management business.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a key driver for procurement strategy and process;
  • Overseeing and managing the approved supplier list, including the on-boarding of new suppliers;
  • Assisting the property teams with preparing the specifications;
  • Managing/assisting with tenders across the business;
  • Appointing new suppliers including sourcing and selecting, as preparing documentation such as Cost Plans;
  • Alongside the FM team, identifying opportunities to increase value from service providers;
  • Helping to lead the growing procurement team and deputising for the Head of Procurement where necessary.
    • Our client is looking for someone with their CIPS Level 4 Diploma, and someone who brings experience of leading tendering processes/supervising a procurement function, ideally within a Facilities Management environment.
