Senior/Principal Acoustic Consultant - MidlandsMy client is an expert independent consultancy who provide sound testing, acoustic consultancy, and specialist materials services nationwide. Due consistent growth of the company, there is a fantastic opening for a Senior/Principal Acoustic Consultant to join the team in the Midlands. You will be assisting the Managing Director in undertaking a variety of duties including mentoring junior consultants and business development.Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years consultancy experience, IOA Membership, a sound understanding of British Standards & regulations (BS4142, BS8233), a full UK driving licence and be educated to degree level in Acoustics.Knowledge of Building Acoustics is essential for this role.Duties will include managing a small team of consultants - this includes the technical growth of the team & assisting in mentoring junior staff. You will also identify opportunities to expand the client based & complete his fee proposals. Site visits will be essential to undertake acoustic surveys / testing!
