Job Description

Hybrid working between home and our office in Edgbaston, Birmingham£30-34k + Bonus PermanentWe are looking for a Senior PR Executive with significant hands-on experience in account management and good media contacts, who is looking to progress quickly into a management role.S2F is an ambitious and growing company looking for the final piece of the jigsaw in its marketing and communications offer, someone who quickly becomes an integral part of the team and will ultimately be a main driving force behind our continued growth.You will have the experience and ability to increase our brand awareness by developing and executing effective media relations programmes on behalf of S2F and our clients in the care, finance, manufacturing, and technology sectors.Skills/Responsibilities for the Senior PR Executive:

  • Develop marketing communication plans, including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics for S2F and their growing list of clients
  • Develop a proactive media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, online media and trade magazine
  • Work alongside the management team to bring in opportunities, spot internal improvements and promote the business in targeted industries
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding their communications strategy
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
  • Monitor, analyse and communicate PR results on a regular basis
  • Direct and work alongside out team to engage audiences across traditional and new media. Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis.
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
  • Manage media enquiries and interview requests. Create content for blogs, press releases, by-line articles, websites, and keynote presentations
  • Spot opportunities to ride on the back of the story to gain high profile media opportunities for clients
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and how they can be used to deliver wider exposure and coverage
  • Work closely with S2F strategic partners, including Cucumber PR
