Ground Control is the contractor of choice for many well-known private and public organisations - including Western Power Distribution, UK Power Networks and SSE within the Utility Arb division.Reporting to the Contract Director, the Senior Manager will contribute to the growth of our Utility Arb business across the Midlands region and ensure that we exceed our client’s expectations on safety, quality and operational delivery.Key Responsibilities will be:• Managing team of Contract Delivery Managers to meet and exceed client and internal KPIs• Delivering the strategic objectives of the Utility Arb division• Mobilising new contracts• Lead the identification and implementation of best practice across the division• Leading on delivering a consistent culture of safety• Reporting on safety, profitability and performance• Delivering within budgets• Contract negotiationThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager either with a technical Arb background or strong management experience within facilities management to help lead our Utility Arb Division.This role is field based and initially covers the Midlands region therefore someone based in this area is preferable. In the future, due to expected business growth, this role may grow to cover work in the South West as well so we’d consider candidates who could have access to the West of England also.You’ll need extensive contract management experience coupled with strong leadership skills that can motivate the team across the whole region. You’ll be a great team manager but you will also need a head for detail and be commercially astute in order to drive this part of our business forward. Required skills
