Senior Java Developer Leading Global Organisation - From £85,000 to £90,000 Salary with excellent benefitsOverview:A global financial organisation are looking to recruit a Senior Java Developer with strong full stack and REST API development capabilities. This role will include the development of financial business logic and create slick web applications and exposure toBlock chain.The ideal candidate will have experience developing applications using Java 11, Kafka and ideally react.Roles & responsibilities:Provide solutions and recommendations for the resolution of technical issues that arise and ensure solutions meet the technical specs and design requirementsInterpret complex financial business requirements and translate into high-transactional, high-availability, secure working systemsDevelop real-time transaction processing systems that support millions of trades every day in investment securities in multiple world marketsWork closely with our Solution Consultants and Analyst Testers to design and implement new functionality for our major institutional customers around the worldEnsure code is designed and built in a reusable mannerPerform code reviews for other developers, when required, to ensure that proposed changes meet quality and best practice standardsCollaborate with other developers to share knowledge, best practices, useful technology, and opportunities for cross-project system design / solutionsKeep abreast of latest and/or relevant technologies, tools and methods.
