Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Java Developer tojoin our growing team based at our Head Office in Birmingham.As a Senior Developer you areresponsible for realising initiatives from business into products and features. You will take part in project and technical meetings and discussions and contribute to all stages of software/productdevelopment cycle, support and mentor junior team members.Here, you have the opportunity and room to innovate and grow.What youll do

  • Taking part in Squads grooming sessions to understand and discussbusiness requirements
  • Participate in estimation sessions with developers in your squad
  • Help breakdown stories and tasks
  • Develope and complete tasks/cards assigned, to a high standard and quality
  • Deliver code, unit test and help with automated testing suite
  • Help with CI/CD tasks and improvements
  • Contribute to technical and non-technical documentations
  • Help and mentor junior members of the teams
  • Attend and contribute to technical and non-technical sessions to improve process and quality of Development Life Cycle
  • Help with sprint planning
What youll need...
  • Minimum3 years experience as a software developer
  • Minimum 18 months experience with Java and Spring
  • Experience working in a Agile environment
  • Team player, but can work independently when required
  • Self motivated
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about technology
