Job Description

Our client is an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities.We’re currently looking for a Senior Administrator / EA to support our COO and our 3 Operations Directors.Whilst the role is home / remote / Teams based; the successful candidate will be expected to travel occasionally to our head office in Gloucestershire and to a number of our sites across the countryThe Role:

  • Our Central Office provides support, leadership and governance to our multiple services across the UK.
  • Supporting our Chief Operations Officer with this mission are our three Operations Directors who manage our three geographical regions.
  • Your role will be to support these four senior leaders with their diary management, board reports, meetings, projects and a wide range of administration, coordination and reporting duties.
  • Naturally, within a senior operations environment there will be a variety of sensitive and strategic meetings which will need organising, minutes taken and actions logged and followed up.
  • Key to your role will be ensuring that everyone is on the same page and on top of their individual tasks/actions.
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
  • Extensive Administration and/or EA experience
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to take accurate minutes and actions and track action progress
  • High degree of resilience, ability to challenge/keep self and others to task and strong open/honest communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Confidentiality / Initiative / independence / self-starting attitude
  • Experience of working in the education or care sector (highly desirable but far from essential)
