Senior DevOps EngineerAn award winning company who work within the media and online content industry are on the lookout for a senior DevOps engineer to join our technical team based in Birmingham to work on a large-scale cloud-hosted application that is being used within the media industry.What will your job look likeYou will be involved in all aspects of the cloud-based server, ensuring a smooth deployment and quick response to system shutdowns.Key daily tasks involveWorking on large-scale applications on a daily basisFull 360 deployment of infrastructure - both new and updated componentsComplete system monitoringData sync and backupRequirementsBEng / MEng / BSc / MSc in relevant subject or equivalent experience.At least 3 years experience as a lead/senior DevOps engineerShell script experience within a Linux environmentKnowledge of APIs - both building and updatingExperience with Terraform to create a smooth infrastructure experience on an automation basisCI/CD proven experienceDatabase knowledge, ideally using Docker or KubernetesOther desirable skills and tools
