Senior DevOps Engineer Ansible, Docker Linux CI/CD Azure NoSQL One of the UKs fastest growing Fintech is looking to grow the Team and are looking for a key Devops person who is looking to move into leadership. The UK based R&D team of this international company are looking for a Snr Dev Ops person to work in a Devops teams which is 50% automation coding and 50% resolution of issues .Your role * Sometimes be required to provide on-call cover to support any critical missions or incidents * Work closely with our dedicated support teams * Non-functional requirements such as alerting, monitoring, security and performance of our services* Support implementation of secure design principles according to policies and standards of Information Security* Mentoring more junior team members The ideal person will have * 3 years+ experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role* Experience with configuration management such as Ansible* Understanding of containerisation concepts such as Docker* Experience of global data management (DBA, monitoring, backup, etc.)* Solid sysadmin and networks capabilities (tcp, firewall, etc)* Exposure to incident response processes and scenarios* Engineering skills using one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, Java etc.* Experience running mission-critical services in production is a major plus* Linux / UNIX system administration.* Use of modern CI/CD tools for delivery and automation such as Azure DevOps* Familiarity with the latest compute, load balancing and scaling, storage, networking, security and virtualization technologies* Experience mentoring and working closely with more junior colleagues* Experience administering and supporting relationaland NoSQL databasesThis role is a remote based role with occasional travel to the office when needed. There are some legacy physical servers.
