Job Description

I am resourcing an experienced Senior Demand Planner to join a world class organisation on based in the West Midlands on a hybrid basis..The key responsibilities for the Senior Demand Planner will include;

  • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
  • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
  • Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Creating inventory reports and presenting suggestions to the S&OP manager.
  • Ensuring the business has a steady flow of stock without overcapitalising on materials
The Senior Demand Planner key competencies
  • At least 3 years experience in Demand Planning and Supply Planning, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with S&OP implementations in a complex, cross functional, matrix environment
  • Analytical, dynamic, driven, energetic, open-minded, authentic, commercial
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with stakeholders at all seniorities
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills is vital for this role
  • Ability to identify and understand patterns and key trends
