Job Description

Senior Data EngineerLeading Insurance ProviderWe are seeking aSenior Data Engineerfor an esteemed player in the insurance industry. If youre a problem solver passionate about large-scale data architecture, wed love to hearfrom you!What you’ll be doingIn your role as a Senior Data Engineer, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust architectures, such as databases and large-scale processing systems.
  • Implement complex data pipelines to support analytical needs.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to create effective data structures for extraction, transformation and loading of data.
  • Provide data and analytics support, enabling improved decision-making.
  • Automate, automate, then automate some more

  • Extensive experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Advanced knowledge in programming languages (Python, Java etc.), and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in data warehousing.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools like Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow.
  • Experience with cloud services.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in simplifying complex technical language for non-technical stakeholders.
