Senior Construction Site ManagerBirminghamPermanent£65k (Negotiable depending on relevant experience)Plus, Car or Allowance & Fully Comprehensive Benefits/Medical/Pension PackageThe ClientOur Client is a UK specialist Construction, Facilities Management & Civil Engineering company. They provide services across sectors from new build to refurbishment along with supplying building solutions to commercial units such as hospitals, retailers, anduniversities etc. They are looking to recruit a Senior Construction Site Manager based in Birmingham.The RoleTo provide a strategic operational management plan to enable successful project delivery, strong leadership of a multi-disciplinary team, and facilitation of strong links with other teams within and external to the project.Duties:Plan the delivery of multiple projects with overall responsibility for the successful completion of the construction programme, meeting or exceeding all contractual obligations.Monitor delivery of the project, identifying risk and opportunities and working with key stakeholders to optimise project delivery.Manage the utilisation, implementation of design ensuring the working ethics to your teamsAssess the buildability of the proposed design and ensure that Design teams produce feasible designs within the required timescales.Lead the delivery of construction works, ensuring compliance in line with company processes and protocols.Manage and develop the supervisory and engineering team, and lead project action groupsReport progress on projects, monitor and manage construction budgetsEnsure that HS&E targets, KPIs are set and managedMonitor the effectiveness of the HS&E management systemLead & review accident investigations and carry out periodic Safety and Environmental Tours & risk reviews and implement any safety improvement requiredEnsure that sufficient resources are allocated to each project with the appropriate level of ability.Manage the implementation of systems and processes in line with the company proceduresOverall ownership of Handover Documentation for Section.Ensure production of operational target programmes reflect overall construction programme.Chair weekly meetings to review strategic performance on site, report progressManage the procurement of subcontractors and operational risks to the schemeRequirements:Must have 10 years experience working within the Built Environment with a Tier 1 ContractorRelevant Degree qualified - Construction Management or Civil EngineeringAbility to read blueprints, structural drawings, plan sets etc.Advanced understanding of H&S, risk management policies and proceduresExtensive experience of manging budgets for large Construction or Civils projectsStrong knowledge of construction materials, processes and equipmentSMSTS/CSCS & Professional Institution Membership - CIOB DesiredIf you are interested in this Senior Construction Site Manager position, please forward your CV to
