Contract Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer 12-month Contract Inside Ir35I am currently working with an exciting ecommerce business who is looking for a contract - Senior Cloud Infrastructure engineer for a 12-month contract (inside IR35) The role is fully remote and can only accept candidates in the UK.We are looking for someone at senior level who can hit the ground running and be responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of services within AWS cloud infrastructure.Collaborates with Engineering and Product teams to drive implementation of solutions to support operations vision andstrategy.Leads the strategy of standardized offerings to facilitate build and deployment on AWS for internal customer teams.Leads the development of standardized offerings and facilitates the successful deployment of stacks and ensures theoperational health of stacks throughout their lifecycleDevelop and maintain service catalogue of infrastructure-as-code platform products, to enable the building blocks forapplication teams to build and develop on, and enable re-useLeads on project work streams and product development, and takes ownership of operations requirementsProvide support for in-house (developed by SERL) systems, ensuring KPIs for business applications are identified andmonitored, alerting the business to problems highlighted by monitoring systems.Security management (using tools such as AWS Security Hub) and managing and remediating security risks.Build positive and collaborative working relationships with the business.Manage service provision and operational relationships with key 3rd party suppliers.Provide data and reporting in support of service reviews and performance reporting Contract Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer 12-month Contract Inside Ir35Lead on the implementation and ongoing management of capacity planning.Lead the implementation and provision of disaster recovery.Monitor customer satisfaction, verifying the speed and quality of the solutions provided to the business.The role requires that you constantly invest time on developing your skills and identify areas that can be improved toprovide a better service to the business.
