Job Description

Role: Senior BI Developer Salary £50,000Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)Join our clients team as a Senior BI Developer for a Charitable Organization in Birmingham!Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community Do you have a knack for turning data into actionable insights Were seeking a dynamic and talented Business Intelligence Developer to join our clients dedicated team at a leading charitableorganization in Birmingham.About Us:Our client is a forward-thinking charitable organization committed to creating positive change in the lives of those they serve. Their mission as a housing associating is to provide homes and services to help people live independently, and they believe inleveraging data-driven insights to enhance their impact and reach.Responsibilities:

  • Build and support integration, ETL and BI solutions that meet the organisations strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design BI solutions.
  • Manage reporting and analytics platform(s) to ensure scheduled jobs run successfully, and analytics data aligns to business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the value of BI tools.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain security standards in line with company policies and industry best practice.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, ideally in various flavours e.g. t-SQL, PLSQL, MySQL.
  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
  • Experience of designing and implementing data warehouses and ETL processes
  • Proficiency data visualization tools (Power BI or SSRS).
  • Knowledge of database optimisation best practices in a Microsoft SQL Server environment, including data warehouse performance optimisation.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
