As well as having lots of opportunities to be creative and get involved with some architecture projects as the team and organisation continue to grow… If the answer is yes, please carry on reading!For this BI Developer role, you will be reporting to the Principal Information Architect and Lead BI Manager to assist the Financial Systems Team in the development and maintenance of the organisationsfinancial systems.Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customisation of applications using both standard and proprietary toolkits.
  • Development of new modules for existing applications using standard and proprietary toolkits.
  • Liaison with the Technical Services department and external suppliers on development issues.
  • System testing.
  • Assisting with the documentation of customer requirements.
  • Assisting with solution design.
  • Assisting with system upgrades.
  • Assisting with the technical and training documentation of solutions.
  • Other solutions development activities as required.
    • Systems Support:
  • Troubleshooting issues with current finance applications.
  • Liaison with the Technical Services department and external suppliers on maintenance issues.
  • Assisting with 2nd line support for the Firms financial systems.
    • Relevant Experience Required:
  • Aderant Expert.
  • SQL.
  • Financial reporting using SSRS or Power BI.
  • Application customisation.
  • Software development.
  • Systems implementation.
  • Systems integration using APIs.
  • Multi-currency / multi-jurisdictional accounting.
  • Finance department background.
  • Large firm professional services background.
  • Web page development.
  • Sharepoint
  • Python
    • Key Skills:
  • SQL.
  • Programming (using VBA, Iron Python, C#).
  • Configuration/development of applications (using both visual tools and programming languages).
  • Problem solving/ troubleshooting.
  • High level of IT literacy generally.
  • System testing.
  • Sound communication skills (written and oral).
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail.
  • Sound time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
