Job Description

Senior Acoustic Consultant - Manchester, Birmingham or LondonPenguin Recruitment is proud to be working alongside one of the UKs leading environmental design consultancy who offers services across a range of sectors including sustainability, environment, planning, surveying, and many other excellent divisions. Dueto an increase in workload and on-going success across the company, they have an opening for a motivated Senior Consultant to join the Acoustics team! You will play an important role in assisting in the delivery of high-quality technical work & supportingjunior consultants in their development.This role has the flexibility to be based in Manchester, Birmingham or London.Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, specifically in relation to Building Acoustics: BB93/Sound Insulation Testing/Part E Design experience
  • Educated to Degree level in Acoustics, or another relevant discipline.
  • IOA Membership.
  • A full UK driving licence.
Duties will include:
  • Assisting junior consultants in peer reviewed work.
  • Sound insulation testing.
  • Noise & vibration surveys.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Project management.
  • Team management.
  • Liaising with clients.
  • Acoustic modelling.
  • Site visits.
  • Input at design meetings.
