Job Description

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGERAs a result of significant investment in plant and technology our Client are looking for a Senior Account Manager with minimum 3 years experience within the Print, Mail and Post industry to join their team.This is fantastic career opportunity for an individual with considerable experience in professional client relationship management and full awareness of the customer journey processes and techniques in print and mail solutions in UK and International postagesolutions.There is potential for the right person to progress to Account Director.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES will include;

  • To support your Client Services team with administration & campaign co-ordination dutiesassociated with keeping company clients delighted.
  • Quoting Clients (within 2 hours whenever possible) & following up on quotations to seek the order.
  • Booking multiple mailing campaigns on Company CRM dealing with many daily queries tasks, keeping inhouse CRM accurate and any other ad-hoc duties required by your account Director / team.
  • Be the key point of contact for your teams Clients and expected to have a pro-active approach to keeping clients updated and informed, as mailing campaigns go through the factory and are despatched.
  • To consult with your Client Services team members, the Data Team, Print Team & the Operations Team to ensure mailings go out on time in full and with total accuracy.
  • Liaise with the Finance Team and remain aware of Clients credit limits and timely payment of invoices.
  • Working with your Account Director, you will be responsible for managing the order from quotation to invoice.
  • Creating client Invoices within 48 hours of mailing despatch or raising pro-forma invoices for new business and postage.
  • Have regular and pro-active contact with existing Clients to develop spend and frequency of use to increase profitability for Company. This will be done under the guidance of your Account Director who will generally look after new Incoming business.
  • You will support with new business quotations create sample packs and follow up calls with the intention of opening accounts.
  • Look at ways to maximise postage gross profit margin and explore methods to reduce buying in costs.
  • You must be keen to maintain and develop your knowledge within the mail and post industry to support your own progression.
  • Constantly looking to identify areas of improvement to enhance the client experience and business performance overall.
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • It is vital that you are a positive team member, even when under pressure. It is part of the terms of employment, that the Account Manager contributes to a happy & positive team culture.
  • Your role will be to positively help promote and support the growth of the business (top line and bottom line) be pro-active, and have a can do, team environment.
  • The support of your finance operations data & print colleagues is vital to consistent financial success & progression (for you and for the business).
  • You will need to have a methodical approach to work and have the ability to multitask and have an eye for detail
  • Knowledge of direct mail/mailing fulfilment services and UK & international postal services
Microsoft Office Package, Outlook, Teams and Word is required
