Job Description

Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge within BirminghamWe are currently looking for a full-time SEN teaching assistant to work within a SEN class of a Primary School in South Birmingham. This role is working 8.30-3.30 with a 30-minute lunch Monday to Friday (32.5 hours per week). Daily rate of pay £70-£80. Thisrole is to start in Immediately and work full time until July 2022. This role has the potential to extend on permanently.This primary school in South Birmingham is recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant to work with children within their mixed KS2 class. For this role you will be responsible for 1:1, group work and whole class support working with the class teacher and SENCO.The children you will be supporting have a wide range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and Social Communication Disorder. Experience of supporting children with unsociable behaviour and de-escalating behaviour is required for this role. You will also berequired to provide consistency and stability within a daily routine, whiles also working to involve the children within class in the wider provision and learning environment.   • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • SEN experience
  • The ability to support and include pupils who have additional needs that include ADHD, SCD and Behavioural issues
  • A secure knowledge of supporting teachers to deliver the National Curriculum in KS2
  • All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service and collection of at least two verified references
  • An up-to-date CV with a 10-year career history
  • Legal Right to Work in the UK
