Job Description

SEN CASEWORKERS AND TRIBUNAL OFFICERSFULL REMOTE WORKING Start date: 30th OctoberLocation: BirminghamWe are currently working with our client who is looking to recruit SEN Case Workers and Tribunal Officers. Further information regarding this process will be provided tomorrow.Please see below for further information:3 x Review Officers - Case Officers:These individuals will be responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 300 cases, predominantly annual reviews. They should possess prior experience working in a local authority. A deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice is essential.The offered day rate for this role is £250 per day Umbrella (Inside IR35)2x Tribunal Officers:These positions are primarily focused on handling Tribunal appeals, excluding mediation or complaints. Prospective candidates should have experience working within a local authority. A strong grasp of the SEND Code of Practice is a requirement. Experiencein attending tribunal hearings in front of a judge is preferred.The day rate for this role is £400 per day Umbrella (Inside IR35), there may be some negotiation on this pending on experience. Further information:

  • DBS Certificate: Applicants must hold a DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months, and ideally, it should be registered on the update service. If not, they will need to apply for a new one.
  • Induction: Candidates should be prepared to travel to Birmingham to collect their laptops and participate in an induction session. Please note that they will be compensated with their day rate for this day, and expenses will not be reimbursed.
