Job Description

Security GuardFull Time, Ongoing£13.25 Umbrella or PAYE equivalentBirmingham, West MidlandsAre you a friendly, welcoming personWe are assisting a Birmingham organisation in recruiting for a Security Guard on an ongoing basis, due to the emergence of a new contract. This role is best suited to someone who is upbeat, but has also dealt with challenging situations amongst families,young people and general public. You will have a good level of general surveillance and be able to spot differences in behaviour patterns.As the Security Guard you will be required to carry out various duties, including:

  • Manning the front desk and greeting visitors
  • Escorting visitors to meeting rooms and delivering information required
  • Completing associated paperwork
  • Intervening in challenging situations
Required skills and experience of the Security Person:
  • Up to date SIA badge
  • Health and Safety, and DBS check (able to complete, if not obtained)
  • CCTV licence preferred
