Our client is a well-established multi modal freight forwarder based in Birmingham they are now looking due to expansion for a Sea Freight Forwarding Coordinator Although dealing with both sea freight exports and imports the role is mainlyhandling sea freight exports. This is an amazing opportunity for a ocean freight specialist to join the team in a progressive company.Duties* Quoting customers * Data entry - paying close attention to detail while building jobs / inputting data.* Making timely import / export bookings with suppliers* Applying for documents from Chamber of Commerce* Completing customs entries for import / export shipments* Overseeing and completing the shipping process* Generating sales invoices, passing purchase invoicesSkills required* Applying candidates will have good knowledge of all aspects of Ocean (LCL & FCL & NES) Imports & Exports from point of origin to destination* knowledge and experience of customs procedures and documentation* Can complete customs entries and all aspects of import and export documentation / bookings / deliveries / quoting etc* Confident and effective communications skills (verbal and electronic), with the ability to build relationships with customers* Has full knowledge of all Incoterms as appropriate to Imports & Exports* Can collaborate with the customer to provide the best service available within the time constraints providedBenefits:* Salary: Up to £35,000.00 per year* Christmas Bonus: Depending on annual performance* Flexi-Work: Working 1 day from home per week * Holiday Entitlement: 25 days, (33 incl. public holidays in 2022)* Equipment: Work laptop provided* On-site parking* Job Type: Full-time, 09:00-17:00, Monday - Friday
