Role Overview:To optimise Electrification Business Line project sales within territory and grow market share through project sales into Target National and Regional M&E contractors via strategic wholesaler, panel builders and directly with the organisation.Client DetailsOne of the worlds leading engineering companies which helps customers to use electrical power effectively and to increase industrial productivity in a sustainable way; provides value-added solutions in robotics, machine and factory automation and has around20 locations in UK.For the 3rd year running has been recognised as a Top Employer in UKDescriptionMain Accountabilities - Responsibilities, Tasks & Interactions:- Agree and meet the company budget- Understand and agree target market place within the Midlands and M40 corridor area, with agreed target accounts, growth strategies and actions.- Implement high quality visits to existing and potential M&E contractors and strategic wholesalers.- Identify, target and follow up projects with our Electrification solutions for electrical distribution schemes from MV and LV switch panel to sub distribution and any associated systems and products.- Proactively follow up sales leads to conclusion.- Ensure the CRM system (Salesforce) is maintained in a timely manner and to the requirements of the business.- Ensure forecasting and reporting is completed in a timely manner- Ensure that product knowledge is maintained at the highest standard- Carry out sales / product demonstrations to customers- Build and enhance relationships with existing and target customers, utilising appropriate corporate hospitality, some of which would be outside of normal working hours as deemed necessary.- Collaborate and work with other members of the team and other sales teams and specialist within the organisation to create cross and upselling opportunities.- Ensure correct procedures are followed and adhered to and in adherence to the companys integrity standards and trading policies.- Present the organisation in the best light to customers by exhibiting the highest standards of values, behaviour and dress.- Attend exhibitions, customer entertainment and company events as may be reasonably required on a national and international basis that may require overnight stays away from home.ProfileRequirements - Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Essential- Electrical or engineering technical qualification to B/TEC ONC / HNC or similar- Previous project sales experience to M&E Contractors- Sound product application as applied within M&E contracting market.- Customer focused- Team Player- Seeks to exceed goals- Resilient and tenacious.- IT LiterateDesirable- Proven sales track record within M&E contractor market in Midlands areaJob OfferCompetitive SalaryGreat Bonus SchemeCarPrivate Medical CoverFlexible WorkingChance to grow the role to new level
