Sales Office Manager - Speciality/High Value Metals and Value-Added ServicesBased: West MidlandsArea Covered: North Sea RegionPackage: £38,000-£45,000, Bonus, Pension, Life Insurance, Private Medical Insurance, Share Scheme, 25 Days HolidaysDue to the current incumbent receiving a Promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Sales Office Manager - Speciality/High Value Metals and Value-Added Services to be West Midlands based and to work across the North Sea Region.The brand is a forward-thinking organisation that are financially robust and are very well-respected. They are also part of a multi-million-pound group that sets the standards within the market with their exceptional and wide-ranging product range and on-timedelivery service.The ideal candidate will have strong sales, business development and account management expertise in Speciality/High Value Metals such as Nickle Alloys, Duplexs, or Stainless Steel, alternatively they would consider applicants with experience of sellingValue-Added Services such as Machining, Testing or Cutting. They may also look at candidates with experience of selling a slightly different product into the Oil and Gas industry or who have sold Speciality/High Value Metals into a different industry suchas the Aerospace or Automotive sectors or they may also look at applicants with a Wider Materials related background.As the Sales Office Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 4 all based within the Sales Office so experience of managing people would be advantageous. You will be measured on the financial figures that you achieve, ultimately the profit that youmake for the company along with overall team performance and the development of your team members.The company requires someone who is a strong manager, who can put processes in place but is also somebody who will get their hands dirty and show the team how it is done in certain situations. They are looking for someone who is very self-motivated, hasexcellent product or sector knowledge, the right attitude and is enthusiastic. They also want someone with good attention to detail, who is a team player, who shows initiative and ideally has good SAP and CRM experience.The ideal candidate must have strong sales, business development and account management skills in Speciality/High Value Metals such as Nickle Alloys, Duplexs, or Stainless Steel. Failing that you will have strong experience in selling Value-Added Services(Machining, Testing or Cutting). Alternatively, you will have experience of selling a slightly different product into the Oil and Gas industry or you will have sold Speciality/High Value Metals into a different industry such as the Aerospace or Automotivesector.The Key Selling Points about the business and the opportunity overall are it is multi million pound privately owned group with a well-respected and strong brand name and reputation.
