Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales team leader looking to further their career in financial services.We are recruiting for a full time Sales Manager or Sales Team Leader to work in an established independently owned business, heading up a team of sales advisors to meet set targets and objectives in a consultative and regulated financial services environment.This role would suit an individual who comes from a larger or corporate financial services setting, who is looking to carve out a career path where there is more scope for working autonomously, taking on additional responsibilities, working with the CEOto introduce process and to grow the size and profitability of the team. The role offers genuine opportunity for personal development and progression. Initially a team leader/ sales performance manager role, but as the experience develops the role could encompassmanagement of the third party lead providers, commercials, and project work.This is a targeted sales, coaching and development of people role offerring a good basic salary plus achievable bonus and commission.What are we looking forWhat we require -

  • Proven sales management experience - The ideal candidate would have 2 years+ sales management experience
  • Hands on approach to management, coaching and development
  • Working in a target-based sales environment - An individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, without compromising on quality.
  • B2C sales management experience where you have managed a team of high activity, consultative sales professionals
  • Positive attitude - A positive and resilient attitude individual who will consistently perform at a high level to meet and exceed targets
Responsibilities -
  • Inspire and motivate a team of debt advisors
  • Drive sales across your team working towards KPIs
  • Ability to identify training needs to improve performance.
  • Have a solid understanding of sales methodologies which you can draw on to coach and develop your team.
  • Hitting and exceeding targets - having your team convert leads from industry-leading partners - NO COLD CALLING
  • Acting with a high degree of integrity putting the customers at the heart of decisions.
  • Creating a fun and motivating environment.
  • Delivering coaching sessions to your team
  • Working collaboratively with the rest of the management team to ensure success
  • Great organisations and time management skills which you can impart on others
