Job Description

Timac Agro UK are expanding and to support with our expansion goals we are actively looking torecruit a Regional Sales Manager across locations in the UK.As the Regional Manager you will manage and support a field based commercial team who areresponsible for growing our already existing client base. You will have previous experience inmanaging and growing a successful field-based sales team and be of a "Results driven mindset". Youwill need to demonstrate strong relationship building skills and ability to motivate and grow yoursales team.

  • You will be responsible for your own profit centre and its performance
  • You will have the opportunity to foster and expand sustainable partnerships with agricultural distributors
  • You will develop your leadership skills by animating and structuring a team of agricultural sales representatives
  • You will have a variety of tasks and stakeholders as well as huge autonomy in selling high value added animal and plant nutrition products and services
  • Responsibilities Of The Regional Sales Manager
  • Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you and your team will be responsible to promote and sell our unique animal and plant nutrition solutions, in close cooperation with our local distributors
  • You will be responsible for leading your teams of 5-10 agricultural sales representatives, with focus on recruiting, integrating and developing their skills and performances to meet and exceed their - as well as your - objectives
  • You will further develop and lead sustainable partnerships with agricultural distributors
  • Your mission will be to prospect and build lasting relationships with the local agricultural community in your area
  • As manager of your own region, you will have the key responsibility for your region’s P&L as well as for the animation and commercial development of your area
  • In permanent contact with the Country Manager, you participate in the development of innovative technical solutions adapted to the customers in your area
  • Your personality will make the difference!
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally in agronomy, agriculture or veterinary
  • You have at least 4 years experience in leading sales, business development or similar position
  • You are known for your entrepreneurial, customer oriented acting and out-of-the-box thinking
  • You have great communication as well as managerial skills and most importantly, you are ambitious and eager to learn
  • You have preferably knowledge of agricultural environment
