Job Description

Sales and Marketing ManagerRemote£35,000 to £40,000 Basic Salary Plus Home setup + Pension , Annual bonus 10-15%Our client an established engineering leader to the Automotive and building OEM Sectors is now seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join the team , this would be based remotely.POSITION PURPOSE

  • Responsible for global sales and marketing of the current and future products through all relevant global channels and platforms.
  • Manage and grow Clients and Client relationships, developing additional sales and sales channels through appropriate partner websites.
  • Create relevant advertising material through partner agencies, for the various markets.
  • Improve the customer journey to ensure product selection, purchase and installation is efficient, minimising returns and ensuring 5* customer reviews; taking advantage of current social media channels.
  • Maintain/update the website and ensure it is kept current as our shopwindow in all global markets.
  • Use KPIs to measure effectiveness, control an annual budget and ensure sales volumes are met.
  • Provide up to date management information to the General Manager and Directors on activity and outcomes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Contributes information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing strategies
  • Helps to detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each product or service being offered
  • Sets marketing schedules and coordinates with colleagues, sponsors, media representatives, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels
  • Develops sales strategies and approaches for various products and services, such as special promotions, sponsored events, etc.
  • Answers questions from clients about product and service benefits
  • Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
  • Tracks sales data and works to meet quotas and sales goals
  • Analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
  • Creates and presents regular performance reports
  • Helps to interview, hire, manage, and direct members of the companys marketing and sales teams
  • Assigns specific employees to marketing and sales projects or client accounts as needed
  • Implements and adheres to company policies and procedures
  • Manages the sales and marketing budget
  • Attends trade shows and travels to meet clients as needed
  • Provide cover for absence and holidays for sales order processing and other colleagues as needed
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Skill/Quals/Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in B2B account management sales and marketing space with demonstrable success.
  • Automotive & building OEM sectors desirable Graduate in Business and/or Marketing related degree. An engineering interest is desirable.
  • Demonstrable success in effective communication and team working.
  • Demonstrates aptitude in product knowledge.
  • Capable of co-ordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understands big picture and strategy but can show attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates adaptability and agility in continuous improvement
  • Demonstrates successful track record in PR across multiple platforms and proven track record including achieving set targets & KPIs.
  • Experience of web development, CRM, Sage50
  • Understanding and experience of working with agency partners
  • Demonstrates competence in understanding and achieving success in the online space (Amazon, FB, Twitter etc.)
  • Self-motivated, demonstrates drive and resilience
  • French, German or Spanish as a second language advantageous but not essential.
