Your salaried teacher training placement will see you working as a trainee French teacher,either starting out in a support role, with a light timetable, or, depending on your experience, picking up a teachers timetable right away.All of our training takes place during the half-term holidays. This means you can work at your school full-time, earn a full-time salary, and train to be a qualified teacher at the same time!Youll have the opportunity to demonstrate and develop your language skills whilst also exploring new disciplines within the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum. • Have determination, resilience, and a patient, caring attitude.
• Have arelevant university degree with a minimum of a 2:2 classification.
• Preferably some experience in a UK classroom.
• Have the confidence and ability to lead the class.
• Be able to demonstrate your resilience.

In Training Phase 2, you will

• Attend 6 training days with our partner university
• Complete 3 written assessments reflecting on your experience and what youve learned so far
• Cover up to 90% of a teaching timetable within a classroom
• Work under a dedicated learning mentor who will guide and advise you along your journey
• Experience two contrasting school placements, allowing you to broaden your experience
