Job Description

Walters People: German speaking Revenue Accountant - Permanent - £37,000 - £42,000 - Fully remoteIm currently working alongside a leading business in their recruitment of a German speaking Revenue Accountant on a permanent basis. You will need be able to travel to Germany at least 3 or 4 times within the first few months for training.Key Responsibilities of the Revenue Accountant:

  • Ensuring compliance with revenue recognition rules
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and reporting
  • Monitoring and booking of maintenance revenues to be accrued monthly
  • Ensuring the correct valuation of projects according to work contract law
  • Presentation of monthly results in management team meetings
  • Assist with group and local financial statement audits and preparation of financial statements
About you as the Revenue Accountant:
  • Fluent in German and English is required. Any other language is desirable (e.g, Dutch, French, Swedish). The interview will be conducted in German.
  • Successfully completed training as an accountant or a comparable course of study
  • Very good Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Deadline driven and results oriented
  • Good organisation with attention to detail and ability to set priorities
