  • Develop and manage Biffa research programmes to underpin commercial strategy with key stakeholders: defining and agreeing research objectives and briefs, recommending and implement engaging research methodologies and reporting deliver clear headline reportsand outputs to define and add depth to campaign content and value propositions.
  • Utilise Biffas customer research panel platform and Biffa data to understand the commercial market and customer audience attitudes and considerations.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute assigned research projects against agreed briefs and output clear results to inform campaign content and value propositions.
  • Support ecommerce, digital marketing teams, value teams to test customer behaviour hypotheses to continually improved and optimise content and proposition design.
  • Coordinate with management in determining research priorities and developing research roadmap.
  • Transform raw response data from SME research to find correlations across different firmographic variables (size of company, market sector, job function) to build key commonalities and differentiators between Biffa SME customer segment personas.
  • Work with platform to ensure all customer data is validated, updated and stored in accordance with the contract
  • Present compelling insights to stakeholders in a way that evokes confidence and expertise and translates complicated insights in an actionable way that will be relevant.
  • Support wider Marketing, Digital and business community through strong matrix working, focusing on driving successful business outcomes.
  • Stay abreast with latest developments in research tools and techniques.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of strong market research experience
  • Membership or certification from an appropriate market research body
  • Solid experience in questionnaire design, table specifications and project management
  • Demonstrable experience of the authorship and co-ordination of high-quality consultancy and research reports / outputs
  • Applied experience in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including expertise in designing and implementing a range of evaluation approaches, theories, and models and to design and undertake mixed method research
  • Experience of commercial data analysis and research data interpretation
  • Confident with all Microsoft Applications including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Confident and engaging communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive with a can do attitude and the ability to work autonomously
  • Resilient with the ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
