Job Description

Tradewind have been asked to supply a Religious Studies Teacher to join an outstanding secondary sixth form college in South Birmingham. The role starts after February half term until the end of the academic year ideally on a 4 day per week basis, howeverif required the school can accommodate a full time position. For those who live around the Selly Oak, Harborne, Quinton Bartley Green, Weoley Castle, Bournville or Smethwick area you will be with a 20 - 25 minute commuting distance.The successful teacher will be teaching RS to mixed ability and very able KS3 - KS4 students across a 2 week time-table. You will be given ample PPA to plan and prepare all lessons in the school day. As full teacher duties are required you will be rewardedwith pay rates in line with your last salary (MPS) up to MP6 dependant on experience from day one of your supply role.The school itself has a reputable local reputation offering a genuinely happy working environment for staff and students. The school consistently achieves excellent GCSE Exam results year on year they are also known for having a very inclusive school ethosand support leadership team who lead from the front and offer a safe and vibrant place of work.The Role:

  • Delivering Religious Studies to KS3 and KS4
  • Planning, marking, assessment
  • Attending parents evenings as required
