Job Description

Relationship Development Manager (REMOTE) Are you pro-active, resilient and a real go getter with a passion for providing a quality service and determined to deliver on Babingtons ambitious growth plans and provide exceptional customer experienceWe are looking for a Relationship Development Manager (RDM) to build and drive sales across a portfolio small to large businesses within a specified sector and/or region. The role will drive sales pipeline through a solution sales approach; engaging withclients to generate opportunities across Babingtons portfolio of Future Skills products including Bootcamps and Traineeships.If you are driven to succeed, can effectively communicate at all levels to secure new and maintain lasting relationships with the willingness and flexibility to work on a remote basis and be part of Babingtons journey of Developing Better Futures, thenwe want to hear from you!Summary of roleThe role is integral to driving and delivering Babingtons ambitious growth plans. The RDM will drive sales success through proactively engaging with new business opportunities, whilst maintaining high quality service levels and relationships with referralpartners and stakeholders. The RDC will also partner with operational colleagues to ensure repeat business and a high-quality customer experience.The RDM will develop and maintain expertise in their key geographical labour market and local partnership and employer needs, with the aim of becoming a Trusted Advisor for their clients and stakeholders developing and delivering 360 solutionsPassionate

  • To achieve and exceed core business sales targets (in terms of learner volumes and financial value) across Babingtons portfolio of services including AEB, Bootcamps and Traineeships.
  • Develop and maintain your area and individual sales plan. Work closely with internal sales support and marketing colleagues to develop campaigns and activity plans.

  • Engage with clients to offer Babingtons range of Future Skills services.
  • Identify and capitalise upon opportunities to develop existing "C "level client relationships into key accounts and working alongside Strategic Account Managers to leverage accounts.

  • Work collaboratively with fellow RDCs towards the achievement of the departments targets, whilst endorsing Babingtons strategic goals and core values; in turn embodying our customer promise and service Pillars through high integrity sales.

  • Communicating and collaborating with key internal stakeholders to support improvement in performance and customer experience.

  • Generate a new business pipeline from warm and cold leads, assisting in the development of an on-going client acquisition strategy.

Essential QualificationsGrade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalentLevel 2 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification or willingness to acquireDesirable Qualifications Commercial Sales QualificationSkills and experience
  • Extensive Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) experience
  • Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision.
  • Experience of liaising with employers and external agencies.
  • Experience of managing databases / CRM systems for lead generation.
  • Experience self-motivating to achieve KPIs and targets
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with a wide variety of people.
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of labour market information.
  • Ability to work within a target driven environment.
  • Knowledge of the Awarding Organisations, Funding Bodies and Ofsted regulatory arrangements
  • Hold a clean driving license with access to a vehicle or ability to travel nationally
