Job Description

Regulatory Reporting Manager role in the Banking/Financial Services sector based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a business that can give the successful applicant good exposure across various functions. They are going in a new strategic direction whichwill present longer term opportunities to develop.Client DetailsMy client is a leading Bank based in Birmingham City CentreDescription

  • Responsible for accurate completion and review of the Banks regulatory reporting including PRA, FCA, EBA, Bank of England, etc. on a periodic basis (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc, etc.) ensuring efficiency of regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Monitoring and reporting of capital adequacy, credit risk (RWAs), leverage, large exposures, stable funding, liquidity coverage ratio, etc. including forecasts, daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
  • Responsible to complete internal and external ad-hoc requests.
  • Maintain and develop data integrity of key regulatory returns.
  • Assist with the completion of the Banks Pillar 3 disclosures.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with other bank functions to underpin the banks ability to provide consistent/coherent regulatory submissions
  • Responsible for reviewing guidance on EBA, PRA, BoE, etc. returns to ensure the Bank has correctly reported each data item and providing challenge where required.
  • Support the CFO, Head of Finance and direct line manager, as required.
Profile
  • Knowledge of banking regulatory reporting elements (Capital, LCR, RWA, leverage ratio, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ICAAP, ILAAP and Pillar 3 disclosures
  • Ability to Interpret technical standards and regulatory rules and guidance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
  • Able to prioritise workload effectively under own initiative.
  • A problem solver with the ability for creative thinking and the ability to work under own initiative.
  • Excellent IT knowledge and skills with outstanding working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Ability to proactively design and implement changes and not be reliant on adopting existing practice only.
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to deal effectively with colleagues of all levels throughout the business.
  • Ability to present recommendations and findings to senior management.
