Job Description

Our client, a well-established Childrens Home are currently looking for a dedicated Registered Childrens Home Manager based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking genuine career progression to work for a reputable and growing childrens residential services care group with homes nationwide.Salary & Benefits

  • Shared on call ( 1 on-call in every 10 weeks which equates to maximum 5 on calls in a 1 year)
  • No Sleeps (Unless there is an emergency)
  • Full-time hours, Mon-Fri (some outside hours may required to meet the needs of the home).
  • Job Requirements for aChildren Care Home Manager
  • Be able to demonstrate auditing, managing budgets and monitoring skills
  • Can evidence knowledge of Reg 44 and Reg 45 reporting.
  • Can demonstrate how to develop a staff team to ensure they have clear vision and goals.
  • Has a good working knowledge of Childrens homes regulations and the Social care common inspection framework
  • Has strong values and beliefs
  • Has integrity and good character
  • Can evidence experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Can evidence knowledge of working within a clear therapeutic framework and the importance of multi-disciplinary working.
  • Essential Requirements for a Children Care Home Manager
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People workforce (Required)
  • Have or are willing to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Preferred)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Required)
  • Must have at least 2 (Two) years of experience working with young people in a Residential Care setting in which minimum 1 (One) year experience as a Registered Manager in a Childrens Residential home is required.
