Job Description

Regional Sales Manager, DACHCirca £65k base, £100k OTE and PackageOur US client provides leading-edge Artificial Intelligence and Automation technology and equipment solutions. They are targeting a Global market, an industry sector with enormous demand and potential, and have a rapidly increasing installed base of turn-keysystems.We are looking for an ambitious new business sales hunter to build and develop their footprint in the DACH regions, and there is the opportunity here to make a significant and tangible impact on business growth. Reporting to the European MD, and benefitingfrom dedicated marketing, lead generation, and technical support and expertise, the role includes;

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan with clearly defined success indicators, leveraging market research and data, and industry partnerships and experts for lead generation / prospecting
  • Articulate and promote the Companys compelling value proposition to customers, and develop ROI justification for investment in turnkey capital equipment systems and services
  • Develop and grow the value of the sales pipeline, managing all stages of the sales process, including sales forecasting and reporting
  • Lead and manage contract negotiations, aligning with internal teams to develop winning solutions and proposals
  • Partner with global sales colleagues and technical teams to identify short and long-term opportunities, and areas for growth
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with senior leadership and key decision makers within customers
  • Maintain customer information and market intelligence
  • Utilise internal sales processes to support objectives and reporting requirements.
Candidates will have sold high-value capital equipment into industrial applications within the German region, ideally also Austria and Switzerland, and we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have sold turnkey systems, direct to customers.You will have the ability to successfully challenge, educate and evangelise customers, and need to be comfortable in a new business focused role. Business level German language would be beneficial.This business is growing, successful, well backed and financed, and operating in a high growth sector, so lots of opportunities for the successful candidate.
