Job Description

Regional Sales ManagerMidlandsUp to £40,000 plus Car or Car allowance and bonus.The Advocate Group are partnered with an established Wine Producer whose focus is on creating a premium and luxury portfolio of award-winning wine. This is a heritage business, with quality and personalisation at the heart of everything that they do.The company has a strong customer base across independent retailers and wholesalers, with additional diverse customers such as iconic, historic sites like Warwick Castle. The role is as varied as its account base and the business is looking for an individualwho can tailor their approach depending on the prospect.Due to internal restructure, theres now an additional vacancy for a Midlands Regional Sales Manager that will be tasked with driving distribution and increasing brand awareness within their designated region.Key responsibilities:

  • Identifying areas of growth opportunity in the channel and prospect for new business
  • Targeted development of distribution across multiple channels including independents and wholesalers
  • Working to a promotional calendar, having a solid awareness of supply and demand and catering to customers requirements
  • Effectively business planning to ensure you are maximising output in a given time period (awareness of decision makers and time wasters)
  • Increasing brand awareness and extending your professional network to further support business growth
Candidate attributes:
  • Strong knowledge of the Beer, Wine and Spirits industry and ideally a network within the designated region
  • Confident negotiating and closing agreements with your defined customers
  • Demonstratable experience growing accounts and maximising new opportunities
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and adaptable to different prospects / scenarios.
There is a lot of autonomy to make the role your own and sell a premium product range to be proud of. You have a lot of variety within the position and if you enjoy a small, collaborative culture this will be well suited.
