Job Description

As HR Business Partner South, you will partner with the Head of Opticians South and be accountable for a compelling people strategy for your region in support of business goals and the creator of an employee experience that enables the highest levels of engagement and productivity. You will be the catalyst for change and use coaching skills to provoke thought and be a creative and constructive disruptor to business thinking and approach.This is a regional role for the South reporting directly to the Head of HR for Boots Opticians.Key Responsibilities• You will co-create a robust, future proof regional talent and succession plan which aims to identify talent pools, high potentials and critical hot spots to ensure that it meets the future needs for people• Coach leaders to build a culture of high performance by having strong performance leadership conversations with their teams which encourages stretch and personal growth and tackles poor performance• You will lead and champion colleague forum and work through our representatives to inspire and engage our store colleagues in our people initiatives• You will work with the Head of Opticians South to shape the engagement strategy across the region by gathering data and understanding the broad range of metrics relating to colleague engagement• You will translate these insights into actionable plans to enhance the employee experience and drive business results, in turn enabling us to live our purpose of making a difference by solving people’s problems with real careA bit about you…• You will have experience in a people partner role with a mix of strategic and operational experience• You can demonstrate experience in key HR processes and procedures including; Talent, Organisation Design, Resourcing and Employee Relations• Expert partnering skills: building and sustaining and strong relationships, coaching and having impact and influence• Good performance coach• Strength in capability development for both individuals and teams• You will have gravitas and excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with people at all levels• You will a have systematic approach to planning and managing a diverse workload• You will be naturally curious and an independent thinker who is prepared to push established boundaries to achieve the best outcome, bringing people with you at every stage• Demonstrate agility of approach and ability to think about multiple solutions and approaches• A resilient nature with the ability to manage pressure with conflicting demands and to prioritise workloadA bit about us…The role of the HR team is to help the organisation deliver its strategy and objectives by effectively managing people and performance.We develop and deliver HR strategy initiatives to achieve business objectives.
