Job Description

Our office is conveniently located within a few minutes’ walk of Birmingham International train station or alternatively, we provide free onsite car parking.The Recruitment & Selection Coordinator will be responsible for company-wide recruitment, including influencing the recruitment and selection strategy. They will work closely with the learning and development and employee engagement teams to ensure employees are able to fulfil their potential throughout the employee lifecycle contributing to improved employee retention.The Recruitment & Selection Coordinator will work collaboratively with hiring managers across the business to understand and meet their requirements. With a good understanding of recruitment methodologies, they will be responsible for recruiting quality candidates, often at volume and within budget constraints. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a successful track record of delivering in challenging conditions, driven by a passion for employee engagement. This role will suit a well-organised, articulate self-starter with experience of working in a rapid-hire recruitment role.Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the HR Manager to define & deliver the recruitment and selection strategy.
  • Identify and source quality candidates at minimal cost to the business, including all candidate screening and interview scheduling.
  • Ensure pre-hire diligence to better improve employee retention.
  • Create a great candidate experience, ensuring consistency of messaging from first contact, through onboarding and into induction training.
  • Continually review and improve all attraction, selection and onboarding processes and relevant assessment methods and documentation.
  • Ensure that the E2E recruitment and selection process is compliant and fit for purpose, using a candidate tracking system.
  • Be responsible for employment offers and contract generation.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Management of all recruitment channels including online accounts and recruitment agencies.
  • Skills and experience required
  • Be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering results in a similar role.
  • Experienced in recruitment & selection practices and cost management.
  • Highly self -motivated, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly effective stakeholder management and engagement skills
  • Excellent planning and prioritising skills
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment with the ability to react to business needs
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft standard packages - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience within a rapid-hire and call centre environment would be desirable
