Job Description

Location: Remote UKThe Role: Recruitment Manager - Financial Advisory You will work with a wide range of stakeholders across the Company, particularly within the various Advisory businesses and look to grow their unique propositions in conjunction with the Recruitment & Acquisition Director. You will be required to engage withfirms and individuals that are either next-generation Financial Advisers looking to grow their businesses or perhaps Financial Advisers looking to exit the industry in a few years time and wishing to take advantage of M&G Wealths Succession-Planning Programme. Representing M&G Wealth Advice in a highly professional manner to the market you will demonstrate the various Advisory propositions to selected Firms and Individuals ensuring clear alignment to our selection criteria. You will subsequently w ork collaborativelywith the various stakeholders to ensure the appropriate due diligence and ensure that firms and individuals are ultimately fully integrated into the appropriate advice channel. Key Responsibilities: Operations

  • Fact-find potential opportunities and identify the appropriate M&G Wealth Advisory channel for further engagement.
  • Present and pitch the appropriate Advisory channel proposition.
  • Engage with internal colleagues to further present the appropriate proposition i.e. technology, adviser services etc.
  • Identify any potential areas of regulatory or reputational risk and diplomatically decline Firms or Advisers as appropriate.
  • Provide timely updates to RAD & PAM re. potential prospects and other required information or statistics.
  • Work with internal colleagues to start and complete the onboarding process including completion of applications, pipeline management and induction.
  • Attend weekly operational meetings with colleagues to ensure a smooth and competent journey for pipeline firms and advisers.
  • Handle queries from both Firms and Advisers at all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Identify opportunities and mechanisms to increase asset flows onto the M&G Wealth Investment Platform and into our investment solutions.
  • Liaise with the PAM to ensure that PBO opportunities are planned and executed as appropriate.
Financial Information
  • Be cognisant of expense control whilst also recommending appropriate financial solutions when onboarding Firms or Advisers.
Risk Management
  • Develop and cascade quality standards within the business to ensure best practice is adhered to when dealing with targeted individuals and businesses.
  • Identify and risks and concerns for any individuals and acquired firms to ensure the business is sufficiently mitigating against known risk in conjunction with the RAD.
Management
  • Attend and contribute to Recruitment & Acquisition Team Meetings to ensure the stakeholders are fully informed of the current recruitment situation.
  • Participate in regular 121s and communicate regularly with the Recruitment & Acquisition Director to ensure core targets are being achieved.
  • Work effectively with other colleagues to participate and contribute to the successful completion of both personal, team and business quality objectives to ensure continual improvement in the recruitment programme.
  • Attend weekly recruitment Operations Meetings and other meetings appropriate to your role to ensure that communication and standards are effective in your area of responsibility.
  • Follow and comply with all relevant Group policies and quality system procedures and practice and ensure that they are adopted within your area of responsibility.
  • Contribute fully to Group People Management processes, including but not limited to recruitment and selection, training and development, dispute resolution.
Third Parties
  • Brief and manage third party introducer and recruiter relationships ensuring a positive message is promoted throughout the industry.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • At least 5 years experience of working in a relevant Recruitment role, including managing people and key stakeholders
  • Proven success recruiting both Advisory Firms and Individuals within a Financial Services Advisory setting
  • MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word expert
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Proven cross-organisational collaborator with a proven record of creating organisational alignment
  • Ability to withstand pressure, meet tight deadlines and work independently with good decision-making skills
  • Frequent travel in the UK (as appropriate) is an essential part of the role - A full driving license is required and access to a vehicle
